       BIO

Isabella Sperotto is a culturally diverse artist working as a writer, performer and project creator in Theatre and Film. Isabella holds a BA in World Performance, a BSc in Psychology and is a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist Specialist. Her interest themes are mental health and interculturality.

 

Isabella began writing and devising for the theatre in 2017, developing plays like "Project Liquid" (2018, Rooted Moon festival in Italy), followed by directing and writing "Brazilian Gift" (2019, Bread and Roses Theatre in London). Soon after, she embarked on a journey with the play "The Yellow Traffic Light", one of the finalists in the DYSPLA Residency (2020) in London, which debuted at the NSDF festival in Leicester (2022) and stood out in the program of the acclaimed VAULTS festival in London (2023). This work received praise for its originality and storytelling mastery, concept, and performance. 

Isabella is currently working in the development of audio-visual projects, such as the animation series “Rádio do Fim do Mundo” as a writer and creator, produced by Chance, Armazém do Conteúdo and Bactéria Filmes in Brazil.
